The Youth Development Program serves youth members ages 10-22. YD includes the teen center, academic support, youth leadership training, workforce development (including part-time academic year and summer youth employment), life-skills classes, arts and culture, critical thinking skills, community service, recreation, organized sports, and youth violence prevention.

Memberships are $15 per year plus a $5 refundable locker fee. Some field trips and special activities have separate fees. Scholarships are available for both memberships and activities.
