Bird Street is very proud of its balanced and varied opportunities for youth, ages 10-22 in its Youth Development Program (YD). The goal is to develop students who excel; youth who can lead now and in the future; and young adults who are educated, happy, and productive members of society.
To fulfill this goal, Bird Street offers 12 programming tracks:

Arts & Humanities Courses
Gender Specific Group and Individual Mentoring
Case Management Services
Memberships are $15 per year plus a $5 refundable locker fee. Some field trips and special activities have separate fees. Scholarships are available for both memberships and activities. Transportation home each evening is available for a $5 fee per semester. All youth under the age of 18 must provide a valid parent signature in order to activate memberships. We also require that parents/guardians complete a financial information sheet that is required of our funders.
