Every Summer the Bird Street Community Center has jobs available for youth ages 13-17! Below is a list of the jobs we have available this summer:

Arts Entrepreneurs
Computer lab Interns

Evening Program Assistants
Facility Assistants
Junior Counselors
Please refer to our Summer Jobs Brochure for a full description of each job and what you will have an opportunity to take part in! It will also give you the number of jobs open, time frame and requirements so please read carefully!

How Do I Get a Summer Job at Bird Street?
1. Fill out an application form and return all documents to Alicia Linton
2. Documents should include a printed resume, a copy of your Health Insurance Card, a copy of your latest report card and
Get at least one recommendation letter from a teacher, youth work, clergy person, etc.
3. If you’ll be 15-17 years old during the summer,
sign up for the Hope Line at

no later than March 16, 2009.
4. Call the Bird Street staff member assigned to the program
(see list below) for an interview
5. Everything must be turned in no later then April 9, 2010!
