The School Age Child Care Program (SACC) is licensed by the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care, and it is designed to support working parents with children ages 5 through 13. SACC operates in seven satellites, all elementary or K-8 schools in Roxbury andDorchester. Some of the schools offer both before and after school and others offer after school only. During school vacations, two sites are operative from 7 am until 6 pm.

Russell Elementary School, 750 Columbiaroad, Dorchester (after school only)
Orchard Gardens K-8 School 906 Albany Street, Roxbury (after school only)
Higginson-Lewis K-8 School, 131 Walnut Avenue, Roxbury (before and after school, and Vacation site)
Trotter Elementary School, 135 Humbolt Avenue, Dorchester (before and after school)
Clap Elementary School, 35 Harvest Street,Dorchester (after school only)
Bird Street Community Center, 500 Columbia Road, Dorchester (vacation site only)
The goal of SACC is to create a seamless day, connecting the school, after school and the home. With everyone working together to educate and nurture our children, we will collectively raise intelligent, productive, and well-adjusted young adults to lead us in the future.
SACC’s structured programs offer homework support, math and literacy coaching, daily physical activity, health, nutrition and wellness, arts and humanities classes, chess club, and technology.
The SACC program operates on the same schedule as the Boston Public Schools.
