Our vision:
To create a responsible youth citizenship imbued with multidisciplinary skills that would contribute efficiently and effectively in all spheres of their life..

Our Mission:
This mission is to make our youth council members take upon leadership among our and push them to lead the community as a place of peace and prosperity, and to thrive as the adults of tomorrow.

What are the objectives of the Youth Council?
The main objectives of Bird Street Middle School Council are:
a) To establish and provide an assembly where the youth can gather and talk about how to improve the neighborhood and schools
b) To ensure coordination of activities for the members of Bird Street Community Center.
c) To initiate youth development projects and activities

Who can become a member of Middle School Council?
Although we will recruit 15 youth to participate, any middle schooler may join.

  1. Attend a two hour meeting every Monday (4-6pm)
  2. Address any issues that should be solved
  3. Complete projects and assigned tasks
  4. You will receive a stipend of $50 every month for all your efforts!
