Bird Street Community Center offers an unending array of volunteering opportunities. Every year we enlist services of more than 130 individuals to provide:
- Board of Directors
- Board Committees
- Tutoring
- Mentoring
- Coaching (Basketball and Soccer)
- Teaching
- Events Committee
- Teen Center
- School Age Child Care
In addition to the above categories, each individual program has general or task specific needs for volunteers.
Board of Directors:
The Bird Street Community Center Board of Directors is responsible for the policies and financial management of the organization.
The Board of Directors is made up of residents, business leaders and corporate executives. Anyone interested in Board participaton should leave a message with Andrea Kaiser at Bird Street.

Board Committees:
Community members are welcome to join and contribute their expertise to our Board Committees, including marketing, finance, personnel, events, nominating, and resource development.
