The community is an important part of the Bird Street Community Center programming. Through Community Connections, we work to improve and sustain Bird Street Community Center's role in the lives of youth, residents, parents, volunteers, and local businesses.

The following are some examples of Community Connections roles:

• Inform the community about our programs and activities
• Collaborate with other community agencies
• Respond to crisis involving youth in the area
• Work with parents of Bird Street Community Center members
